Photoshoot Competition, 1st Nov 2015

When Mr. Barry, our club manager, mooted the idea of having a photoshoot competition for members and their spouses, the Bulletin and Library subcommittee jumped upon the idea. This was the first time a competition of this kind in the club was organized. Contestants could only shoot and submit a picture of each facility in the club. Since there are 15 facilities in the club, a maximum of 15 photos could be submitted. The closing date for this competition was 30th November 2015. The club members and their spouses armed themselves with cameras and smart phoned and busied themselves around the club premises snapping the photos. At the end of the day a total of 16 entries were received. The judges had a tough time picking out the winning entries. A cash prize of RM 50.00 was given to 2 selected entries from each category picked for the final round of judging. RM 500.00 was given to the grand prize winner, RM300.00 for the first runner-up and RM 200.00 to the second runner-up and also RM 80 to the 10 consolation prize winners. The grand prize went to Mr. Michael Tan, the first Runner Up and second runner up were Mr. Chang Chee Ken and Ms. Sheryl Ang respectively. The photo shoot competition met with over whelming response from the members and their spouses and it was a huge success. The prize giving ceremony was held on 17th January 2016.
