New Year Eve Celebration 2017

The New Club New Year Eve Dinner & Dance. The above event was well attended by members from the various sections of the club and their guests. The lively performances by the line dance members, tai-chi exponents and the melodious renditions by the karaoke members and juniors of the club brought great cheer to everyone. It was ‘dessert’ for the sumptuous dinner dished our earlier. It was also the prelude and appetizer for the dancing which followed suit. Amazingly, the dancing was a resounding success. Leading to the countdown, it was spontaneous and well participated by young and old alike. The lucky draws added some more excitement to the merriment of the night. The highlight of the evening before the countdown was the ‘cock-crowing’ competition for the The New Club. It was so sporting of the members, male and female, who participated. It was simply hilarious and had everybody in stitches! The eargerly – awaited countdown was the climax of the night. Everyone sang ‘Auld Lang Syne’ with gusto and the camaraderie was overwhelming in ushering in the year of the rooster. Syabas to the organizing committee, club manager and management committee for a job well done!
