Line Dance Section – Charity at Emmanuel Senior Citizen Welfare Association GOLDEN HOME, 02nd Feb 2018

The TNC Line Dance Section Sub Committee (2017 – 2019) of New Club Taiping besides socializing through line dancing also find time to bring cheer to the elderly and destitute at the Golden Home. Members were quick to respond to request for donations resulting in purchases of provisions, a tea party for the women residents and men residents. The men residents were housed in a different home but brought over in an MPV ( Multi-Purpose Van ).
Golden Home a charity home for destitute and elderly women run by Rev. Dr. Simon Chandran, his wife and team. The New Club Taiping TNC Line Dance Section Sub Committee (2017 – 2019) and members had the privilege of visiting this home this evening.
Residents cook, clean and keep busy with handicrafts and patchwork. These are available for sale to the public. Two multi-purpose vans are available to ferry the residents to the hospital or wherever necessary. All these amenities are made possible through generous donations from the public.
