Doctor Michael Wong has been a practising doctor starting his service in the Armed Forces of Malaysia and retired with the rank of Captain.

During his time as a member of the Club, Doctor Michael Wong also served as a President of The New Club for the years of 1984 and 1985 holding the tenure for 2 years and returning again as President from 1989 till 1991.

Doctor Michael returned as the Vice President of The New Club in 2009 and since then has held various chairmanship in Sub-Committees of Indoor Games, Line Dance as Darts. He also was instrumental in starting the Billards and Snooker Section for the benefit of our members.

Doctor Michael has been returned unopposed as Vice President again for the new tenure of 2021 – 2023.

We believe he will be of further service to the Club in future.
