Taiping, 12th February 2016 – The New Club Taiping, President Tang Yuet Mun in his welcoming speech mentioned that the club had recently completed the first phase of upgrading work on its recreation facilities for members to keep healthy and improve their quality of life. Each year, the club celebrates various festivals to promote harmony among its members and Chinese New Year will certainly not to be missed. Last night’s event was another grand occasion with the presence of HRH Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Tengku Jaafar, who graced the ceremony.
Mr. Tang said that the Club had reached 131 years old and with the recent upgrading project on most sports and recreation facilities, it is an ideal and relaxing place for working class community. The Club is only limited to 999 members, and as today we are only left with a few more vacancies to reach the ultimate figure.
