Annual Squash – Tennis Nite, 2016

The annual Squash-Tennis Nite was held on 16 July 2016 to mark the end of another eventful session of squash.  This is the third time the Squash and Tennis sections have joint hands to organise the event.   As the chairman of the Squash section said in his speech, this will help to cut cost and also enable the event to be held on a larger scale.  He also thanked the sponsors for our competitions, with special mention to Panorama, Weng Sports and BWC.  The response from the members were overwhelming.   The night started off with a grand dinner, accompanied by lively music and singing.

This was followed by prize giving and lucky draws.  This year there are fewer prizes for the lucky draw as we have decided to focus on quality rather than quantity.  After that, the merriment continued and it ended with a birthday celebration for our squash chairman, Mr Tan Vooi Gin.  Many happy returns to you.

Finally, we wish to thank all those who donated generously to help make this a memorable occasion.  Also, our thanks to the squash section committee members and the general committee of the club for their contributions and support.
