Trip to Maxwell Hill

Collage 4 Collage 1 Collage 2 Collage 3

On 12 DECEMBER 2016 twenty-two members of the Tai Chi Section accompanied by  Sifu Teh Ah Bee, went on a day trip up  Maxwell Hills. This idea was mooted by Moleh Wong and the Committee together with Datin Jennifer made it possible. The purpose of this trip was to cultivate and promote fellowship among members.

The members met at the foothills at 7 am and the morning kicked off with warm-up exercises. This was followed by the Tai Chi Routine steps of 16, 24, 40, 42 and the Tai Chi Sword, much to the awe and admiration of early morning joggers and visitors to Maxwell Hill.

On arrival, Maxwell Hill became alive with the hustle and bustle of twenty one blue-shirted members. We had breakfast at Maxwell Hill Café which was sponsored by Datin Jennifer. Thank You Datin!! The highlight of the day was the Birthday Celebration of 3 members who had their birthdays in December. Lim Ka Chong, Chai Sang Ter and Mrs Teh Ah Bee cut the home baked cake ( a surprise from Moleh Wong) while the members sang the birthday song.

After breakfast, the members roamed the hills, for photography sessions and some fun activities. Compliments to Ng Kar Pak and Caroll Chan for their photography skills!! Some members even recollected sweet memories of the hills.

Reminiscence

-Chai Sang Ter spotted the old tree which he had photographed during his school days.

-Caroll Chan recollected sweet memories of how she met her husband for the first time there.

At 12 noon the group descended with lots of memories and good fellowship. It was an enjoyable trip and the Tai Chi Section will continue to enjoy the good support from its members.
