Hari Raya Celebration, 17th July 2017
On 15th July 2017, 22 Taiping New Club members’ children gathered in the main hall to participate in the Children’s Colouring Contest. This event was organized by the Bulletin and Library section of the New Club. The children were divided into two categories. Kindergarten to standard 3 making 1 category and standard 4 to standard 6 making the other. Prizes were given to 1st place, first runner up, 2nd runner up and 5 consolation prizes for each category. All participants were given certificates of participation. The President of Taiping New Club, Mr. Tang Yuet Mun, gave away the prizes.

Group A:
1. Soo Kai Ming – Champion
2. Ng June Hsuen – 1st Runner up
3. Sohia Ann – 2nd Runner up
Group B:
1. Vindhya – Champion
2. Nandyini – 1st Runner up
3. Christy Su – 2nd Runner up
