Panorama Squash Competition, 14 – 16 Mar 2016

Panorama has been one of the strong supporters of squash at our club level. They have sponsored the annual Panorama squash competition for more than a decade. This is the thirteenth year, to be more precise. This year, they have up-graded their prizes for the competitors. In addition to that, they also sponsored a barrel of draft beer for our fellowship and prize-giving night.
The competition was held from 14 – 16 March 2016. Team Pano played against team Rama. Karen Goh captained Pano while Chia Mooi Ai captained Rama. To everyone’s surprise, team Rama easily won the competition by a wide margin. Perhaps this could be due to the fact that the competition was held during school break and quite a number of our outstanding players were away on holiday. Nevertheless, everyone played their very best, and there were a few upsets too.
Prizes were given away by Mr Ng Eow Siah and Mr Copper Ng. We are indeed honoured to be in the company of such committed sponsor. We truly appreciate your generous contributions to the sporting success of the squash section. Thank you.
